Terms of use

T1Your account

In plain words: Keep your login safe and tell us if something looks off.

You need an account to enroll in courses. You must be at least 16, or have a parent's permission, and the details you give us must be accurate.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Use a strong password, don't share it, and contact us right away if you notice anything unusual.

T2Courses and access

In plain words: Buy a course and it's yours to watch for as long as Learnly exists.

When you buy a course you get a personal, non-transferable license to watch it and use its materials for your own learning.

Plus and Teams give access to the whole library while your subscription is active. Instructors may update lessons to keep them current.

T3Payments and refunds

In plain words: 30 days to change your mind, no questions asked.

Prices are shown in USD and include any taxes we're required to collect, unless stated otherwise at checkout.

You can request a full refund within 30 days of a purchase or of the first payment of a subscription. Repeated refund requests may be declined.

T4Being a good classmate

In plain words: Be kind, give credit, and don't share paid lessons.

Treat learners, mentors and instructors with respect. Harassment, spam and hateful content are removed and may end your account.

Don't download, resell or publicly share paid course content. Projects you create are yours, including in your portfolio.

T5For instructors

In plain words: You own your course; we help you sell it.

Instructors keep ownership of their content and grant Learnly a license to host, market and sell it.

Revenue shares and payout timing are described in the instructor agreement shown when you publish.

T6Changes to these terms

In plain words: We'll tell you before anything important changes.

If we make material changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Learnly after that means you accept the new terms.

Privacy policy

P1What we collect

In plain words: Only what we need to teach you and run your account.

Account details (name, email, password hash), your learning activity (lessons, quiz answers, projects) and basic device information.

Payment details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.

P2How we use it

In plain words: To keep your progress, suggest courses and improve lessons.

We use your activity to save progress, power streaks and recommendations, and help instructors improve their courses with aggregated insights.

We never sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

P3Who sees what

In plain words: Instructors see progress in their courses; nobody else sees your private data.

Instructors see your name, progress and submissions in their own courses. Teams admins see progress for courses the company pays for.

Your public profile shows only what you choose to make public.

P4Cookies

In plain words: Essential cookies only, unless you say yes to more.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Optional analytics cookies are off until you turn them on in settings.

P5Your rights

In plain words: Download or delete your data anytime from settings.

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data from your account settings, or by writing to privacy@learnly.example.

If you delete your account, we remove personal data within 30 days, except what we must keep for tax records.

P6Contact

In plain words: A real person reads every privacy question.

Questions about privacy go to our data protection team at privacy@learnly.example or by post to our studio address.
